Mad Weaves

Mad weave is a triaxial weave with weavers in three directions. Every intersection has three layers. It was found in the Asian Pacific and is supposedly named for the imprisoned women who either learned it or went mad.
The hex weave is a simpler triaxial weave with fewer weavers and an open work look.
